EKAS engagement begins with a 60-90 minute Discovery conversation. The conversation is most productive when four conditions are present.
- Data quality baseline — production data captured systematically, not on paper or in disparate spreadsheets
- Executive sponsor named — a senior operations or finance leader with budget authority and willingness to engage
- Operations-finance alignment opportunity — both functions willing to share a common cost model and OEE definition
- IATF 16949 compliance posture — current certification or active path to it (for automotive supply chain context)
